  1. To install vutex on your Vax VMS system:
  2.  
  3.    1.  ``weave'' vutex.web with vutex.chg to produce a printed document
  4.  
  5.    2.  check those items marked ``system dependencies'' for desired alterations
  6.        at your site.  Make the necessary changes to the vutex.chg file.
  7.        For example, directory names should be changed, page_length should be
  8.        determined, and the end of page actions in the routine finish_page may be
  9.        altered to include a form feed.
  10.  
  11.    3. ``tangle'' vutex.web with vutex.chg to produce a pascal source file
  12.  
  13.    4.  compile and link the source
  14.  
  15.    5.  alter and install the nonascii.fnt file in the desired directory.  This
  16.        file lists the names of non roman tfm files with a classification code.
  17.  
  18.    6.  generate the appropriate command procedure
  19.
